P3-M shabu seized in Camarines Sur anti-drug operation


AUTHORITIES conduct an inventory of shabu valued at P3 million seized from two suspected drug pushers in Goa, Camarines Sur.
CAMP OLA, Albay – Police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) agents arrested two suspected drug pushers and seized more than P3-million worth of suspected shabu in an anti-drug operation in Goa, Camarines Sur Friday, July 1.

Police Major Malu Calubaquib, spokesperson of the Police Regional Office (PRO)-5 (Bicol), identified the suspects as Naneth F. Obias, 33, and Anthony R. Ariola, 23, both residents of Zone 3, Barangay Matacla, Goa.

Calubaquib said Obias is listed in the provincial recalibrated priority database on illegal drugs.

“Si Naneth Obias ay (is) identified to be drug pushing and dealer at saka matagal nang minamanmanan sa (and has been under surveillance on the) provincial level,” Calubaquib said.

She said the suspects were arrested thru a search warrant issued by Judge Maria Angela Acompañado-Arroyo, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court (RTC), Branch 58, San Jose, Camarines Sur.

Two plastic bags containing shabu weighing at least 510 grams and valued at P3,468,000 were seized from the suspects.

Suspects and confiscated drugs were taken to the Goa police headquarters for proper disposition.
