The Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Saint Clement in Angono, Rizal witnessed the oath-taking of Angono, Rizal's first re-elected lady mayor and other local officials.
Mayor Jeri Mae Calderon took her oath before Rizal First District Representative Michael John ‘Jack’ Duavit on Thursday, June 30.
The lady mayor’s father, Vice Mayor Gerardo ‘Gerry’ Calderon, also sworn in to office with his wife and relatives witnessing the ceremony.
Prior to the Calderons' oath-taking, eight councilors also took their oath in front of residents and guests on the same day.
A buffet dinner was then served to the participants and guests of the event right after the mass in honor of the elected officials.
To cap off the night, a fireworks display was also held in celebration of the event.
