“Dahil gusto po ng ating Pangulo na walang maiiwan. Ang sinasabi po na pandemic recovery ang lahat po ay kasamang umangat, walang maiiwan. Kaya po kung may matatanggal po ay maiiwan po yun (Our President said no one should be left behind. As part of the pandemic recovery, everyone should be uplifted and if employees will be removed, then it means that they will be left behind),” said Tulfo.

He likewise vowed to expedite the provision of assistance to those who are in need.

Meanwhile, outgoing Secretary Rolando Joselito Bautista, in a ceremony held at the DSWD Central Office, handed over the following to DSWD chief Tulfo: the transition handbook, the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) Coffee Table Book, the DSWD red vest, as well as the DSWD colors.
