Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested seized some P3.4 million worth of shabu in a buy-bust in Legazpi City in Albay.
The operation also resulted in the arrest of the three suspected pushers identified as as Ryan Arandia, 40, mechanic; Helin Fajardo, 18; and Donmerwin Santiago, 29.
Arandia was previously convicted for a drug-related case and is included in the watchlist of drug personalities.
Authorities seized two knot-tied transparent plastic bags containing suspected shabu and two pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing more or less 500 grams of shabu in the 5:20 p.m. operation in Purok 5, Barangay Padang.
The suspects face charges for violation of Section 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act (RA) 9165.
