No work in Manila trial courts June 29-30

Work in all trial courts in Manila is also suspended on Wednesday and Thursday, June 29 and 30, due to the traffic rerouting plan for the inauguration of President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos Jr. on June 30.

The order of work suspension was issued by Deputy Court Administrator Jenny Lind R. Aldecoa Delorino with the approval of all Supreme Court (SC) justices led by Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo.

The SC and the Court of Appeals main offices in Manila had earlier issued circulars on work suspension on June 29 and 30.

In his circular citing the traffic rerouting plan, Gesmundo said “all roads leading to the SC (on Padre Faura Street) are affected thereby making it inconvenient for everyone to report for work....”

CA Presiding Justice Remedios A. Salazar Fernando also cited the same reason in her work suspension order.
