Mayor Emi, Team Calixto sworn in


A thanksgiving mass followed by the oath-taking of Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano was held at the Shrine of St. Therese of the Child Jesus located at Newport Boulevard, Villamor Airbase on Tuesday, June 28.

Rubiano was joined by her brother, the city’ lone representative, Antonino Calixto, Vice-Mayor Waldertudes “Ding” del Rosario, and the whole "Team Calixto" during the thanksgiving mass officiated by Bishop Oscar Florencio of the Military Ordinate of the Philippines.

The mayor won a landslide victory for her second term as the city's chief executive in the May 9 local elections.

Rubiano and Team Calixto was sworn into office by Pasay City Regional Trial Court Branch 45 Judge Remiebel U. Mondia.

Team Calixto Councilors for District 1 who also won by a landslide were Mark Calixto, Grace Santos, Antonia Cuneta, Marlon Pesebre, Ambet Alvina, and Ding Santos.

For District II Councilors, the winners were Joey Isidro, Wowee Manguerra, Donna Vendivel, Jen Panaligan, and Allo Arceo.

Rubiano thanked city residents for their continued support to Team Caixto and vowed that they will continue to work hard.

She said her administration will improve more her HELP (H-ealth care and housing, E-ducation, economic growth and environment; L-ivelihood and lifestyle, P-eace and order, palengke (market), and pamilya (family) services.
