Teary-eyed on her speech, Mayor Quiambao promised the Bayambangueños that as the mother of the town, to end the cycle of poverty by addressing it from the roots.

“We will raise strong children, strengthen family ties, promote health and wellness, inculcate positive values to the youth, ensure food security, and give better and brighter opportunities for parents to provide their family's needs" she said.

The new Mayor admitted she faces daunting challenge as the mother of the town.

"I have big shoes to fill because I am following the footsteps of the best Mayor Bayambang has ever had,” she said, referring to her husband.

“Nakaka-pressure, but I am excited because this is the part where I get to prove to you that I, Niña Jose-Quiambao, am a true Bayambangueña, and I love Bayambang with all my heart,” she added.

Joining Mayor Quiambao as head of the Legislative Department is Municipal Vice-Mayor lan Camille C. Sabangan, now also the very first Vice-Mayor of Bayambang.
