The Lady Chiefs quickly regrouped with their usual fiery offense in the last two sets to pick up their fifth win in six outings and grab solo second.

Carla Donato starred for Arellano with 16 points off 13 kills and two blocks while Trina Abay also stepped up with 13 points highlighted by three blocks.

Charmina Dino also spelled the difference for the Lady Chiefs and unloaded all her 12 points on attacks even as Princess Bello chipped in 11 points.

The victory overshadowed the efforts of Shereena Urmeneta and Christine Calixto, who combined for 25 points in a losing effort for Letran.

The Lady Knights skidded to their fifth loss in six matches to remain near the bottom standings.
