The latest Sentro Rizal, a repository of all things Filipino, launches in Hanoi
The Philippine Embassy in Hanoi, Vietnam in partnership with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) inaugurated Sentro Rizal in Hanoi, Vietnam on June 21, Tuesday.
Led by Ambassador Meynardo LB Montealegre and executive director Oscar G. Casaysay of the NCCA, the event was marked by the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of the center, followed by a cultural program.
Sentro Rizal Hanoi is the ninth center in Southeast Asia, a step closer toward the realization of the goal to further strengthen the Philippines’ cultural presence in the ASEAN region.
Sentro Rizal is the Philippines’ cultural arm created for overseas Filipinos and anyone interested in anything Filipino. Its opening ensures that a platform is accessible for learning to deepen and enhance appreciation of Filipino culture and nurture culturally-literate and participative communities of overseas Filipinos.
