The busiest among the eight squads is Onic Philippines which also announced the release of back-up roamer Mico “Micophobia” Quitlong. Micophobia was the latest departure in Onic PH following the earlier exit of its coach Denver “Yeb” Miranda and roamer Ian “Beemo” Sergio.

The 24-year-old roamer became a vital part of Onic PH during its Season 8 run when it settled for a bridesmaid finish to Blacklist International to qualify for the M3 World Championship. Mico saw little action in Season 9 as the crew stumbled to a 5th to 6th place finish.

Aside from the recent departures, Onic star Kairi “Kairi” Rayosdelsol is also reportedly being eyed by Onic PH’s sister team Onic Esports from Indonesia along with coach Yeb.

Onic PH hasn’t made any announcement regarding Kairi’s official status with the team but multiple reports said that the star jungler is set to sign with the team. Yeb, on the other hand, already made an appearance with Onic Esports during its run in the recently concluded MSC 2022.

Meanwhile, CJ “Ribo” Ribo came back from a one-season hiatus to sign to his close pal, Billy “Z4pnu” Alfonso’s team Z4 Esports.

Ribo decided to take time away from the professional scene after a disappointing finish for Bren Esports back in Season 8. The veteran player who is regarded as one of the winningest personalities in the professional scene, got the release from Bren before joining the amateur team.
