The Navotas City local government held on Friday, June 24, the inauguration and blessing of a computed tomography (CT) scan machine at the Navotas City Hospital (NCH) as part of its continuing effort to give better health services to the residents.

Incumbent Mayor Toby Tiangco, Mayor-elect John Rey Tiangco and NCH director Dr. Christia Padolina led the inauguration of the machine. City health workers and employees also witnessed the event.

The mayor also said that they are planning to expand the bed capacity of the city hospital.

He also thanked the workers in NCH and other city departments for their services and sacrifices that helped in their campaign against the Covid-19 pandemic.

The inauguration of the CT scan machine is part of the city’s celebration of its 15th Cityhood Anniversary and 7th Anniversary of the NCH.

Navotas was declared a city on June 24, 2007 while the NCH was opened in 2014.
