Former action star Robin Padilla hinted at how his life has changed drastically after he topped the Senate race during the May 2022 national election.

In a recent Instagram post, Robin revealed that he misses the bonding moments with his kids, he was not sleeping deeply enough, and other forms of relaxation.

Napapalayo po sila sa akin," said Robin on Instagram.

Change has to come sooner. Me time no more. Longest 3 hours sleep. No relaxation. No more streaming, no more TV. Missing the news and docus."

Robin, 52, prayed for good health and the strength to help the people and solve the problems of our nation.

"May Allah give me more strength and good health. Walang pong masarap dito. Walang pong ilalaki ng ulo dito. Napakalayo po sa mundo ng showbiz. How can it be elegant when 80 percent of your people are living in crisis. Battle of intentions po ito hindi po ng utak intermarriages of country interest, people interest, personal interest and business interest," he added.

Robin is married to television host-actress Mariel de Leon. They have two children.

The 19th Congress of the Philippines will start on July 25, 2022, until July 4, 2025.
