This is in line with PDEA Board Regulation No. 3, Series of 2017, strengthening the implementation of the drug clearing program.

Arinas said the drug-cleared villages underwent a performance audit by the DILG.

De Jesus said Barangays Gugo, Caniogan, San Marcos, Sucol, and Panducot successfully removed the threat of illegal drugs from their communities by getting the support and cooperation of their residents, including the youth.

He expressed hope that the remaining 24 villages in Calumpit will soon be cleared of illegal drugs.
