CSB dumps EAC to keep pristine record

College of St. Benilde continued to show it is a legitimate title-contender as it slammed Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC), 25-16, 25-16, 25-16, Friday to keep its record pristine in NCAA women’s volleyball at the Paco Arena.

The Lady Blazers left no stones unturned in securing their fourth straight victory that kept them in the hunt to claiming their second championship since its breakthrough title conquest in the 2015-2016 season.

Jade Gentapa, Jhasmin Gayle Pascual and Michelle Gamit took turns in delivering the dizzying blows and finished with 17, 16 and 11 points, respectively.

“Hindi kami naging complacent, sumunod kami sa plano at kahit sino kalaban, dapat pareho kami ng galawan at hindi kami kampante,” said Gamit.

So dominant were the Lady Blazers that they walloped the Lady Generals in 65 minutes.

They also exposed EAC’s lethargic offense by ruling in attacks, 50-28.

While CSB remained unscathed, EAC, in contrast, stayed winless in four outings despite Krizzia Reyes and Cathrine Almazan scoring 14 and 12 points.
