The Abulug police opted to engage themselves in an online selling during their free time to raise some amount which they use to support those in need in their area of jurisdiction.

Police Lieutenant Shiela Joy Fronda, Deputy Chief of Police of Abulug Police Station, is spearheading the program.

She encouraged other Abulug policemen to do it again to raise funds to help those in need in their jurisdiction.

It will be recalled that through this online selling for a cause, the Abulug Philippine National Police also helped a disabled child from Barangay Palloc, Ballesteros, Cagayan in December last year.

The conduct of online selling made the police proud knowing that they had helped those in need without getting cash from their pockets.

"Ang mga gamit na hindi na napakinabangan o hindi ginagamit ay ibinebenta at siyang ginagamit para sa ibang tao na makakatulong,” police said.

On June 10, Abulug PNP visited 12-year-old Arjel Labbao of Barangay San Julian, Abulug, Cagayan. Arjel was diagnosed with community-acquired pneumonia.

The Abulug policemen visited him to provide pillows and foam.

"Ang mga ito ay katas ng pagbebenta ng mga Ukay-Ukay na damit online ng mga kapulisan upang mabigyan ng maayos at komportableng higaan ang napiling benepisyaryo," the Abulug police said.

On Friday, June 24, however, the Abulug police felt sad upon learning that Arjel passed away on Monday, June 20.
