Though many people believe that Sara has the same style of leadership from President Duterte, she said it is not actually the same based on personal experience and on her observation.

"Well, based on his (PRRD) term as mayor and as president of this country and my term as mayor of this city, makikita naman na iba't-ibang style namin (we have different style) when it comes to leadership," said Sara in a press conference here.

It might be unbelievable to some, but, Sara said she and PRRD do not discuss work, particularly any other political issues and concerns on their respective government posts.

"Every time we see each other, what we usually talk about is family matters. Our relationship (as father and daughter) is very normal," Sara said.

Sara, who won with 32 million votes, is the first vice president to be elected who is a daughter of a sitting President, and the third female vice president after Gloria Macapagal Arroyo (GMA) and Leni Robredo.

When asked how her conversation with her father was during her inauguration ceremony on June 19, Sunday, Sara said that President Duterte congratulated her after she thanked her father for gracing the event.
