SANCHEZ MIRA, Cagayan – Several plastic sachets of suspected shabu were found in a dormitory in Barangay Centro 2, this town, raided by police before.

A caretaker of the Josue Dormitory, Cristy Yacap, 21, discovered them on top of a double deck bed in one of the rooms she was cleaning Sunday, June 19, at about 1:30 p.m.

Yacap informed local police who took the illegal drug to the Sanchez Mira police headquarters for proper disposition, according to investigator-on-case Police Chief Master Sergeant Vladimir Enteria.

A buy-bust operation was conducted at the dormitory Tuesday, June 14, by the Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Group-Special Operation Unit 2 (PNP-DEG SOU2), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Region 2 (PDEA-RO2), and police here.

Two suspected drug personalities were arrested – Reynalyn Tingson, alias “Ninit,” 44, and Nor Aina Ibrahim, of San Jose del Monte City, Bulacan.
