The two-time world champion displayed another flawless performance to cop the gold medal with a score of 14.933.

It was a slight improvement from his qualification score of 14.800 where he also led among eight finalists.

South Korea’s Kim Hansol and China’s Yang Jiaxing scored similar 14.333, but the Korean took home the silver with a higher score on execution than Yang.

Kim scored 8.333 while Yang posted 8.233.

Yulo, meanwhile, almost made it to the podium in the still rings but finished in fourth place with a score of 14.000.

He submitted 5.700 degree of difficulty in his routine and managed 8.333 in execution.

China’s Lan Xingyu captured the gold medal with 14.500, while Iran’s Mahdi Ahmad Kohani and Chinese Taipei’s Lin Guan-Yi won silver and bronze with 14.433 and 14.200 scores.

Yulo, who already punched a ticket to the FIG World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Liverpool, England in November with his silver-medal feat in the individual all-around, would be aiming for more medals when he competes in the vault and parallel bars finals at presstime.
