14 companies join job fairs in Las Piñas, Parañaque and Pasay City


Fourteen companies participated in the job fairs that were held in the cities of Las Piñas, Parañaque and Pasay on June 14.

In Las Piñas City, 13 job seekers were hired on the spot at the job fair that offered 1,410 job vacancies of the 14 participating companies.

Mayor Imelda Aguilar said the city government through the Public Employment and Services Office (PESO) launched the job fair as part of the celebration of the country’s Independence Day.

Aguilar said the companies that joined the job fair were the Lucky Star Service, Placement Inc., Unisolutions Manpower Services, Academy Operations, CNT Promo and Ads Specialist INc., Cablelink Holdings Corp., Hernando Manpower Services, AEMS Inc., LTC Multiservice, Phoenix Southern Petroleum, St. Emilion, Savory Fastfood Inc., Aeroplus MultiServices, and BJRP Marketing.

She said the 13 job seekers who were hired on site were among the more than 400 applicants who visited the fair.

In Parañaque City, a job fair with the theme “Pagsuiong sa Hamon ng Panibagong Bukas” was staged at Fortunata Gym in Fortunata Village, Barangay San Isidro.

Mayor Edwin Olivarez said another job fair will be brought to other barangays in the city to help the residents affected by the Covid-19 pandemic find employment.

In Pasay City, a job fair was conducted at the Cuneta Astrodome from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the city government also offered a one-stop-shop for employment requirements during the event.
