Jhonard “Demonkite” Caranto and Eman “Emann” Sangco took turns in the two-game sweep as the MPL PH champions secured the full three points to put themselves in a good position for a top seed finish in the Group B.

The Filipino bets lived up to the billing as one of the favorites to rule the tournament as they dominated the Cambodians in the series opener with a scintillating 13-4 Game 1 win.

Dylan “Light” Catipon set the tone for the rout as he provided the disruption to See You Soon’s rotation all while giving the space for Eman’s Beatrix to farm. Unbothered in the gold lane, Eman quickly snowballed as he spearheaded the onslaught with a 6-1-5 KDA.

Arvie “Aqua” Calderon provided support with a perfect 4-0-4 line on his Kagura.

In Game 2, RSG PH bucked a long lull due to technical pauses as See You Soon took advantage to seize an early lead. The Cambodians kept their hold of the advantage but a huge clash in the top lane turned the favors to the Filipinos as RSG scored a wipeout leaving Demonkite’s Karina and Nathzz’s Esmeralda to secure the uncontested Lord.

Another huge clash near the bottom lane proved to be the difference as the Filipinos scored another three-man wipe to complete the sweep of the Cambodians with 19-10 victory.
