MB Daily News Update: China is PH’s strongest partner – Marcos Jr


President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. acknowledged China to be the Philippines’ strongest partner even as he also vowed to continue President Duterte’s independent foreign policy.

Vice President Leni Robredo visited her province mate and political ally detained Senator Leila de Lima at the Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Center where they shared stories and memories.

The Department of Health (DOH) has noted a slight rise in Covid-19 cases in the country, but said that this has not been sustained, and would not likely lead to any surge.
