In the past, other actresses such as Florence Pugh and Alexa Demie and music stars Bebe Rexha and Sky Ferreira have been rumored to be among the roster vying for the role. According to Variety, an insider says that “Garner’s team is considering and expected to accept the offer.”

Casting for a film is always a tedious process. But in this forthcoming Madonna biopic, “grueling” is the perfect term to describe it. A story by The Hollywood Reporter shares that auditionees participate in an intense choreography session with the pop icon’s choreographer and then another dance session with the “Like A Virgin” singer. After callbacks come the reading with Madonna and the singing part of the audition.

“The focus of this film will always be music,” Madonna says. “Music has kept me going and art has kept me alive. There are so many untold and inspiring stories and who better to tell it than me. It’s essential to share the roller coaster ride of my life with my voice and vision.”

Apart from her stellar performance in “Inventing Anna,” Julia is also known for her work in “Ozark,” earning her two Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series awards from the Primetime Emmys.
