Two new Cabinet members of the incoming administration of President-elect Bongbong Marcos were announced on late Wednesday night, June 8.
Reportedly accepting the position of National Security Adviser (NSA) was retired University of the Philippines (UP) Professor Clarita Carlos.
On the other hand, former ABONO Party-list Rep. Conrado Estrella III accepted the position of Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) secretary.
The announcement from the Marcos camp Wednesday came in the form of a photo release. The photos showed Carlos and Estrella individually meeting with Marcos.
"They accepted the offer to become new members of the Cabinet," the release read.
The meeting, which lasted nearly two hours, took place at the BBM headquarters in Mandaluyong City.
The headquarters was closed to media Wednesday.
