The Tokyo Olympian blew cold throughout the final round, managing only a single birdie against eight bogeys and two double bogeys.

She struggled from the start with three straight bogeys and another bogey on the seventh, before finding reprieve with a birdie on the eighth.

But it proved to be short-lifted as Pagdanganan stumbled with a double bogey on the par-5 10th hole and then followed it up with three more bogeys on the next four holes.

Her woes continued by shooting another double bogey on the 15th and a bogey next.

Following earlier rounds of 75, 70 and 72, Pagdanganan finished with a four-round total of 299 to trail eventual champion Minjee Lee of Australia by 28 strokes.

Pagdanganan pocketed $19,780 (P1.04 million) consolation prize.

Lee shot an even-par 71 to cruise to a four-stroke victory and a second career major title.

She finished at 13-under-271 ahead of closest pursuer Mina Harigae, who scored a 72 for 275.

Yuka Saso failed to defend her title and missed the cut along with Dottie Ardina.
