The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) recorded 29 volcanic quakes in the last 24 hours in Bulusan Volcano, which continued to be restive after erupting on Sunday, June 5, 2022.
Authorities remain on alert even as 180 residents have already been evacuated due to the thick ash fall from Bulusan that blanketed nearby barangays.
Meanwhile, President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. continued to receive foreign dignitaries as he met with the ambassadors of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) at his headquarters.
An official of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) presented a formula on how to achieve P20-per-kilo of rice, a knockdown price on the basic good that was promised by the incoming Marcos administration.
