In an advisory, the Commission addressed all graduates of Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) and Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) graduates, disclosing that they will be implementing new board rules in the next licensure exams.

Under the revised specifications, only those who graduated in 2020 or earlier, as well as those who graduated in 2021 onwards under the old curriculum will be allowed to take the September 2022 LEPT.

Meanwhile, BEEd and BSEd graduates of year 2022 onwards under the new curriculum were advised to apply in the next licensure exam schedule starting 2023.

“The 2023 LEPT and its succeeding schedules shall be open to all BEEd and BSEd graduates, regardless of the year of their graduation,” said PRC.

Furthermore, only those who have earned 18 education units under the old curriculum will be allowed to take the September 2022 LEPT, while those under the new curriculum shall be allowed to take LEPT beginning 2023.

“All concerned graduates are advised to strictly observe the foregoing rules in taking LEPT to avoid any problem in transacting applications for licensure examinations,” reminded the Commission.
