Boy, 3, killed in Cebu town fire

CEBU CITY – A three-year-old boy died in a fire that hit their house in Barangay Upper Poblacion, Aloguinsan, Cebu Thursday.

Police said the children were the only ones left at home after their mother was brought to a birthing center due to labor pains early in the day.

Police identified the fatality as Izach Pantin Pielago.

According to Police Staff Sgt. Marvin Hubahib, desk officer of the Aloguinsan Police Station, Izach and his two brothers aged 10 and eight were asleep when their house suddenly caught fire. The two other children were able to rush outside.
