A Filipino mom has been crowned Mrs. Asia Pacific All Nations 2022 in Singapore.
Louise Suzanne Alba Lopez bested some 20 candidates in the international competition. She was accompanied by Mitzie Go-GIl, National Director of Mrs. Asia Pacific Beauty Pageant, and Mrs. Queen of Hearts Philippines organized by the Queen of Hearts Foundation, during the pageant.
"Congratulations to all our queens for a job well done in Singapore. Thank you also to all the pageant fans for your continued support to the Queen of Hearts Foundation," said Go-Gil.
Mrs. Asia Pacific Global Avon Morales of the Philippines also graced the pageant stage.
Lopez thanked all those who supported her as she looked back at her journey in the Queen of Hearts Pageant.
"It is still surreal that I am now Mrs. Asia Pacific All Nations 2022 because my pageant journey was never easy. When I won the local pageant, the pandemic struck.
"In November 2020, we were affected by typhoon Ulysses. I asked for help from different organizations and LGUs to support my journey but got rejected because of the pandemic, and it was understandable.
"I began to lose hope that I would not be able to continue, but God remained faithful and kept me grounded. He led me to a few but the right people who significantly helped me. I am grateful for all of you. You know who you are.
"During my prayer time, God impressed in my heart the verse from Matthew 28:19, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" and that's when I knew that my title was really meant for me.
"As I start this chapter of my life, I pray that I would be able to fulfill my purpose as an individual to inspire, encourage, and spread God's love to others.
"All that I have accomplished, it is because of God's love and faithfulness to me. I bring back all the glory, honor, and praises to Him!
Lopez also won the Best in Talent Special Award during the contest. Other winners from the Philippines were: Darling Topacio Edralin, Mrs. Asia Pacific Special Queen Ambassador 2022; Monaliza Hernandez Salenga, Mrs Asia Pacific Special Queen Ambassador 2022, Mrs. Charisma Beauty 2022 and 1st Place, Best in Talent; and Bo Iveeh, Top 10 finalist.
