Three lucky bettors who purchased their tickets in Bulacan, Cavite, and Laguna won the over P43 million jackpot of Lotto 6/42 after Tuesday night’s draw, May 31, according to the Philippines Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).
The winning combination of Lotto 6/42 was 25 -20 -29 -07 -21 -02.
The total jackpot prize of Lotto 6/42 was P43,912,343.80.
According to the PCSO, the winning tickets were purchased at outlets located in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan; Silang, Cavite: and Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
The said jackpot will be split into three since the winning combination.
Because of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law, the jackpot will be subjected to 20 percent tax once claimed.
If there was no TRAIN law tax deduction, each of the three bettors would have taken home P14,637,447.9.
Once the 20 percent tax is deducted, each of them will get P11,709,958.31.
The government will get over P8 million from the winnings of the bettors or a sum of P8,782,468.77.
