Many were bothered reading Rabiya Mateo’s social media post over the weekend.
It was a quote card bearing the message: “I owe myself the biggest apology for putting up with that I didn’t deserve.”
Many were wondering if it has something to do with Jeric Gonzales, her current boyfriend.
Note that Jeric, one of her regular social media “likers,” didn’t even bother to comment or react to the post.
Is there relationship already in trouble this early or are fans just reading too much into her post?
It’s more of the latter, apparently.
In a recent interview, both expressed desire to grow together personally, professionally.
Jeric, in fact, wants to do a film with Rabiya.
He said, "Kung magkakaro'n ng chance, film sana. Parang totoong buhay lang.”
Rabiya on her part is happy to share that she feels "blessed."
"We're really happy kasi individually, there's a lot of blessings na dumadating," Rabiya said. "Marami rin binibigay ang GMA. We're blessed as individuals and we're happy to share this blessing with each other."
Both are now with Sparkle, GMA’s talent center.
"Ngayon na nag-sign kami sa Sparkle, I'm happy na mas marami pa kaming pagsasamahan na opportunities, hopefully. Dito kami mag-grow together," Jeric added.
