Food adventure in 'Farm To Table'

This week’s food adventure brings us to the fishing town of Mabini, Batangas where Chef JR Royol gets to prepare a special menu using freshly caught fish from the sea. Our resident food explorer meets the owner of Dok Franco’s Hub Ecotourism Farm to scout the fish port of Mabini for delicious seafood. They both set out to the water of Balayan Bay to revisit one of Chef JR’s favorite childhood hobbies – line fishing.

Discover the distant cousin of Maya-Maya called Malaponti which will be used to prepare Spicy Fish Curry Soup.

Try a different kind of Adobo as Chef JR prepares a Pinoy favorite using Octopus meat.

And try his ode to the Batangueno classic sinaing by preparing this local dish using the fish Gulyasan.

Another exciting food adventure awaits so be sure to tune in on the next episode of Farm to Table this Sunday, 7PM on GTV!
