Only 585 individuals out of 1,032 examinees have passed the May 2022 Chemical Engineer Licensure Exam, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Tuesday, May 24.
The exam was given by the Board of Chemical Engineering in Manila, Bgauio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, and Legazpi.
Meanwhile, among the top performing schools with at least 80 percent or more passing percentage were University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman (100 percent), University of San Carlos (100 percent), UP Los Baños (95.45 percent), De La Salle University Manila (88.89 percent), and UP Visayas - Iloilo City (82.76 percent).
Richmond Caya Pepito of University of San Carlos, with a rating of 86.90 percent, emerged as the top performing examinee in the said licensure exam.
