MB Daily News Update: BBM bares other Cabinet picks


Presumptive president Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. announced that Cavite Rep. Crispin “Boying” Remulla has accepted his offer to join his administration as its Justice Secretary.

Marcos Jr. also said that he offered the post of National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) chairman to economist Arsenio Balisacan, who has accepted the nomination.

The country’s next Chief Executive also said Bienvenido Laguesma and Susan “Toots” Ople have accepted his offer for them to head the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and Department for Migrant Workers (DMW), respectively.

Meanwhile, the Senate and House of Representatives are set to convene as the National Board of Canvassers on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, to start the canvassing of votes for President and Vice President.
