MB Daily News Update: Hefty gasoline price hike; diesel, kerosene rollback next week


There will be another round of price increase in gasoline products – ranging from P4.10 to P4.80; even as prices for gasoline and kerosene are set to go down by as much as P2.60 next week.

The series of wage increases being approved in the country expanded further with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) announcing the approval of wage hikes in Region 4B, or the so-called Mimaropa region (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan) and Region 12, or the so-called Soccskargen region (South Cotabato, Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani, and General Santos.

Another vessel is set to join the growing fleet of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) with the expected arrival of the future BRP Melchora Aquino, which is now on its way to the country from a Japanese shipyard.
