3 newly-elected Laguna officials take oath before presumptive VP Sara

Three newly-elected Laguna officials took their oath of office before presumptive Vice President Sara Duterte-Carpio at the Office of the City Mayor in Davao City on May 17.

Duterte-Carpio administered the oath of Biñan City Lone District Representative-elect Len Alonte-Naguiat.

In a Facebook post, Alonte-Naguiat said she and the outgoing Davao City Mayor are staunch allies who believe in the power of good governance to bring positive change and progress.

San Pedro City Mayor-elect Art Mercado and Santa Rosa City Mayor-elect Arlene Arcillas also took their oath before the presumptive vice president.

Mercado posted on Facebook that he is reaffirming his commitment to upholding the principles of Lakas–Christian Muslim Democrats, of which Duterte-Carpio is the chairperson.

Arcillas, on the other hand, posted that it is her privilege and honor to take her oath with the vice president-elect as the officiating officer.
