“No discrepancies seen. As you have seen yesterday in the walkthrough, when we revalidate, they are mostly typo and the confusion between the names of candidates,” said PPCRV Director for Youth Affairs Jude Liao in a press briefing.

Meanwhile, as of 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, a total of 81,692 physical ERs have so far arrived at PPCRV's command center. Of this number, 65,172 have been fully encoded and only 64,341 poll returns have matched the electronically-transmitted copies.

This produced a match rate of 98.73 percent, said Liao.

“The difference of 830 is accounted for as follows: 105 ERs have not yet been compared, this will be included in the next batch of processing or matching, 341 ERs may no longer be matched as they do not have electronically-transmitted counterparts, this is primarily due to the failure of some VCMs to transmit. Lastly, 384 ERs have been identified for revalidation,” he added.
