Poll watchdog Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) have received more than 75,000 physical election returns from various poll precincts in the country.
As of 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, a total of 75,107 physical election returns were brought to the PPCRV command center at the Quadricentennial Pavilion inside the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in Manila.
This translates to 69.68 percent of the 107,785 total precincts nationwide where election returns are coming from.
The bulk of the poll returns came from the provinces of Luzon, with 45,271.
Visayas sent the second largest number of poll returns so far, with 13,751.
Poll returns coming from the National Capital Region (NCR) are at 10,033 while Mindanao sent 6,052 returns.
The PPCRV has yet to receive any election returns from polling precincts abroad.
Physical election returns received by the church-based poll watchdog are encoded by volunteers at the command center before it will be matched with the digitally-transmitted election returns.
The operation of PPCRV will run until May 20 in UST and will have to transfer to a smaller venue if they continue to receive election returns beyond May 20.
