Yulo tallied a whopping score of 15.200 after a stellar and almost flawless routine and bested Tay Wei-an Terry of Singapore and home bet Khang Trinh Hai Khang of Vietnam.

Tay Wei-an finished with 14.033 for the silver while Khang registered 14.00 for the bronze.

The 22-year-old Yulo successfully defended his all-around and floor exercise titles and repeated the same results he had in the 2019 edition here in the Philippines.

The Tokyo Olympian has a high chance of eclipsing his 2019 performance when he competes in the pommel horse and still rings final later today.

He settled for silver in both events more than two years ago.
