Physical election returns received by PPCRV now at 45,135


Church-backed poll watchdog Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) on Friday, May 13, announced that they have so far received a total of 45,135 physical election returns (ERs).

This, according to PPCRV Media Director Agnes Gervacio, equates to 41.88 percent of the total ERs in the country.

Meanwhile, Gervacio also disclosed that 29,047 of these ERs are from Luzon, 10,018 from Metro Manila, 4,732 from Visayas, and 1,338 came from Mindanao.

“The location where the ERs came from. For North and South Luzon: Tarlac, Zambales, Batangas, Pangasinan, Quezon, Laguna, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Bataan, Cavite, Ilocos Norte, Sorsogon, Pampanga, as well as Camarines Sur. From , all the cities have sent their ERs. From Visayas we have Cebu, Samar, Leyte, and eastern Samar. From Mindanao, we have received from Zamboanga and Misamis Oriental,” Gervacio added.

No match rates will be released today. Furthermore, PPCRV will be extending their operations on Friday, May 13, due to the large numbers of ERs arriving, said Gervacio.
