What Kiana Valenciano said about Paul Soriano

Singer Kiana Valenciano, daughter of singer Gary V., has some choice words for film director-producer Paul Soriano.

Kiana shared her thoughts about Paul on Twitter, reacting to his post that read: "#HereComesTheSon and I say It’s all right (victory hand and Philippine flag emojis)."

Obviously he is referring to President- elect Bongbong Marcos, son of former president Ferdinand Marcos.

Kiana wasn't impressed. She commented: "Used to look up to you."

Though Paul didn't reply, he later shared some of the things he said in an interview on SMNI.

“If you support him, you support the country, that is the real meaning of being a Filipino for me…”

“We’re living in (a) democracy and 31M have spoken and elected BBM, we need to respect that decision…”

"We're living in a democracy and the people have spoken. 31-M, in fact, have voted president-elect Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, Jr. to be our president for the next 6 years. We need to respect that decision. We're gonna have to start accepting that we're gonna be living in a country where our president is BBM."

Meanwhile, Kiana also tweeted: "Look around, look around. The revolution’s happening."

A netizen reacted, commenting: "I think this revolution that you’re saying is kind of a threat to Nat’l Security and we don’t want it. We don’t want our country to be divided because we want peace for the Filipino people. Because after all, that’s more important than who’s winning. Just my thoughts @KianaVee"

But Kiana answered, "I think you’re looking at this the wrong way. Revolution doesn’t always mean violence. A generation woke up thanks to #LeniKiko, and no one will ever be able to take that away."
