Feel good Fridays get the Tawag ng Tanghalan (TNT) treatment at the country’s premier lifestyle and entertainment destination, Resorts World Manila (RWM). The uber swanky, state-of-the-art stage of The Grand Bar and Lounge at the Newport Grand Wing is showcasing an all-star cast of the most popula TNT talents every Friday night for the month of May.
This Friday, May 13, take in the vocal supremacy of JM Dela Cerna and Rachel Gabreza. Following his successful run on TNT in 2019, Dela Cerna released his first single “Pasko ng Pandemya” in December 2020. Now a certified Star Magic artist, he continues to perform for his fans at ASAP Natin ‘To and his own Youtube channel. Gabreza has dominated the musical stage not only locally but globally. The world-class belter was crowned champion at the Stars of the Albion Grand Prix 2018: 5th International Performing Arts Festival & Competition held in London, United Kingdom.
The following week, TNT year 4 and 5 songstresses, Rachell Laylo and Shanne Gulle, take the stage. Laylo famously received a standing ovation for her grand final performance of Shirley Bassey's "This is my Life." After her strong showing at TNT, Gulle went on to compete in another singing competition THe Clash to further flex her singing chops.
Finally, to complete the series on May 27, it’s Lorraine Galvez and Lucas Garcia’s turn on the stage. TNT Grand Finalist Galvez impressed the judges with her expert command of her voice on her performance of "Spain" by Al Jarreau. Another TNT artist that has caught global attention is Garcia, earning online praise from Hollywood actress, Jennifer Hudson.
Catch these vocal powerhouse take control of The Grand Bar and Lounge stage at the GF Newport Garden Wing. Shows start at 9:15 pm every Friday of May. The shows are open to patrons 21 years old and above for a minimum cover charge of Php800 consumable on food and drinks.
