Miss Philippines Earth 2019 Janelle Tee seems keen to relinquish her sweet image as she has stripped off for a movie.
This will be the first time that the former beauty queen is going naked in front of the cameras. In the Vivamax flick "Putahe" which will stream on May 13, Janelle creates a buzz with her decision to bare all for the cameras.
Janelle will be seen in the buff in several scenes of the movie where she plays Euka, who sheds her mysterious aura and reveals her wild, seductive side as she gives Jenny (played by Ayanna Misola) sex lessons she will never forget.
Ayanna's never been shy about showing some skin after she starred in "#Pornstar 2: Pangalawang Putok" and "Kinsenas, Katapusan."
Following the private screening of the movie "Putahe" held at Gateway Cinema in Quezon City on Wednesday, May 11, Janelle and Ayanna talked to the media about the challenges of baring it all on screen.
"Challenging talaga siya. Unang-una, bago pa namin i-shoot yung eksena, nag-usap muna kami ni Ayanna. Okay kami kasi magkakilala na kami prior to shooting the project. And comfortable na kami kasi magkakilala na nga kami. Pero siya (Ayannah) naman kinakabahan," said Janelle.
"Sabi ko sa kanya 'wag kang kabahan kasi at least magkakilala na tayo. Puwede tayo nag-usap, andun na yung rapport at connection.
"Pero iba pa rin talaga kapag andun na kami mismo sa eksena. Tama naman siya na comfortable kami kasi nga magkakilala na kami at hindi na kami magkakaproblema sa koneksyson dahil nga magkaibigan kami pero awkward din siya.
"Sa tutoong buhay, para ko s'yang nakababatang kapatid. So imagine, hinahalikan mo yung nakababata mong kapatid. Tapos sabi pa ni direk magtitigan kayo. Sa titigan na yun parang doon naman ako kinabahan. Na-achieve ba namin na meron kaming chemistry? Comfortable kami pero awkward pa rin," said Jannelle.
In preparing for sex scenes with Ayanna, Janelle said they underwent workshops together. "Nagkaroon kami ng workshops with direk. And may mga films din ako na pinanood para makuha ko yung pagiging gender-fluid ng character."
Ayanna admitted she got nervous shooting the intimate scenes with Janelle.
"Tinatanong ko lagi si direk kung may love scenes ako kasi siyempre kailangan ko makaligo, para maka order ako ng fresh water. Noong una, sobrang kaba ko rin. Lagi ko syang (Janelle) china-chat. Pero feel ko naglalakas-lakasan lang siya. Pero at least hindi nyo naman nahalata na awkward kami," Ayanna said.
Janelle said Ayanna wanted to rehearse the sex scenes, but she refused.
"Gusto pa niyang mag practice kami. Pumupunta siya sa room ko at sabi niya ipractice na kaya natin? During the intimate scenes, nararamdaman daw nya na mahal ko s'ya as Janellle. Sabi ko naman bakit wala ba akong paki sa yo?" Janelle laughed.
Ayanna and Janelle also described how they felt watching themselves on the big screen engaged in steamy scenes.
"Natuwa ako kasi ang ganda ng pagkakagawa ni direk at hindi nakakabastos. Artistic and hindi rin tuloy-tuloy yung scene parang intercut," she said.
Janelle also said that the intimate scenes were artistic. "Sabi ko kay direk ang ganda, it is tastefully done."
Wearing a pink outfit during the movie premiere, the smiling Janelle said that the color of her clothes has nothing to do with politics. "It's my realization that after doing intimate scenes with the same sex, I still prefer men. That's my fashion statement."
"Putahe" is directed by Roman Perez Jr. who was also behind the success of other Vivamax original sexy titles "Taya," "The Housemaid," "House Tour," "SIKLO," and "Iskandalo."
