Korean rapper Psy’s “That That,” produced by and featuring BTS’ Suga, debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
“That That” is the lead track of Psy’s new album “Psy 9th,” which was released on April 29.
According to Billboard, “That That” debuted at No. 80 on the Hot 100 dated May 14, a chart which “blends all-genre U.S. streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data.”
In addition, “That That” also debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales, No. 2 on Billboard Global Excluding US, No. 3 on Hot Trending Songs and No. 5 on Billboard Global 200.
“#thatthat_psyxsuga is #80 on @billboard #hot100 THX so very much,” Psy posted on Twitter about the Hot 100 achievement for “That That.”
This is Psy’s fifth song to enter the Hot 100 chart. His last was seven years ago when “Daddy,” featuring 2NE1’s CL, peaked at No. 97 on the Hot 100 in 2015.
His viral hit “Gangnam Style” peaked at No. 2 in 2012, “Gentleman” at No. 5 in 2013 and “Hangover” at No. 26 in 2014.
Meanwhile, the music video for “That That” has garnered 131.95 million views as of May 11 since its release on YouTube on April 29.
