An official of the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV), on Tuesday, May 10, said that there are still “no discrepancies and irregularities” in the partial and unofficial voting turnout between Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Vice President Leni Robredo.
The statement came after the occurrence of the “68:32 issue” in various social media platforms. This, according to PPCRV chairperson Myla Villanueva, is an alleged “consistent” pattern in the percentage of votes that Marcos Jr. and Robredo have been receiving.
“ the 68:32 issue or matter that people are talking about in social media ... I kindly asked some academic institutions and I'm grateful for Ateneo and UST for visiting us today to look at the data and at the moment, they have reported that there are no irregularities regarding that pattern,” said VIllanueva.
She added that they are inviting institutions to clarify the phenomenon, but she added that no irregularities have been reported yet.
Meanwhile, PPCRV said that they have so far received 4,925 election returns as of 6 p.m., Tuesday.
