In preparation for the polls, the city government said it would make sure that all voters will be comfortable as they wait to cast their votes.

Several establishments opened earlier and numerous food stalls were set up as the volume of voters increased from the opening of voting hours at 6 a.m.

San Juan City and Xavier School officials and the city's law enforcement agencies have also been deployed to maintain order at the polling center. Aside from a precinct finder stall set up along the school gates, numerous bulletin boards containing the precinct numbers of voters are displayed in the school to help individuals look for their designated polling precincts.
