Thousands of Bulakenyos in Barangay Tabang, Guiguinto, Bulacan, the home town of Governor Daniel R. Fernando, bucked long lines and high temperature to cast their votes on Monday, May 9.
Voters told the Manila Bulletin that they woke up early so they could line up at the polling precincts and exercise their rights to vote.
They said they also prayed that the 2022 national and local elections will be fair and peaceful.
