Ang Probinsyano Party-list leads star-studded sorties in final days of campaign


Ang Probinsyano Party-list gained a star-studded boost during the final day of the campaign period Saturday, May 7, as they made rounds in the Bicol region.

Joining the party-list's activities were popular showbiz personalities Piolo Pascual, Donnalyn Bartolome, Zanjoe Marudo and Jason Abalos.

The stars journeyed Saturday to Irosin, Sorsogon City, Bacacay, Polangui and Ligao City, ahead of a scheduled grand rally in Legazpi City that same night.

A motorcade around Sorsogon City with Ang Probinsyano Party-list 1st nominee Rep. Alfred delos Santos and 3rd Nominee Mike Chua, together with Zanjoe Marudo and Jason Abalos commenced the days series of events for Ang Probinsyano Party-list, which is number 50 in the ballot.

They also made a courtesy call at the residence of incumbent Sorsogon Governor Chiz Escudero.

A back-to-back grand rally at Irosin Plaza, Sorsogon headed by “Broken Marriage Vow” lead star Marudo and “Las Hermanas” star Abalos started at 1 p.m. Another grand rally at Bacacay Plaza, Albay also at 1 p.m, was headed by social media superstar Bartolome, and “My Papa Pi” and “Flower of Evil” main star Pascual.

Donnalyn and Piolo were scheduled to proceed to Ligao City Park while Marudo will join Pascual at Polangui Public Kiosk in the afternoon.

On Friday afternoon, May 6, Ang Probinsyano Party-list 2nd nominee Edward Delos Santos and Ang Probinsyano celebrity-supporter JM de Guzman, graced the "miting de avance" of Dumaguete City headed by Mayor Felipe Remollo.

They then proceeded to the Pamplona, Negros Oriental miting de avance of Governor Roel Degamo, wherein De Guzman addressed the crowd with a short speech and said: “Sana iboto natin ang Ang Probinsyano Party-list. Malapit na po yan, number 50. Sana makaboto tayo nang maayos (I hope we vote Ang Probinsyano Party-list. The elections are near, number 50. I hope we will be able to vote properly)."
