The Commission on Elections (Comelec) is all set for the May 9 National and Local polls.
"Its all systems go. We are just waiting for the date of the elections," Comelec Commissioner Marlon Casquejo said in a press briefing Thursday, May 5.
"We are 100 percent all set for May 9," he added.
He stressed that failure is not an option for the Comelec.
Meanwhile, the Comelec said almost all poll paraphernalia that will be used on Monday have been 100 dispatched.
These are the vote counting machines, the broadband global area networks, ballot boxes, official ballots, and the consolidation and canvassing system kits.
As for the VCM external batteries, the Comelec said 99.81 percent have been dispatched.
Nearly 90 percent of the voter information sheets (VIS) have also been distributed to voters as well.
