Communications Secretary Martin Andanar made this statement after the release of the latest OCTA study, which showed that Duterte continues to be the most trusted government official even with less than two months in his presidency.

Based on the OCTA Research's Tugon ng Masa survey conducted from March 5 to 10, 2022, Duterte got a 67-percent performance and 69-percent trust ratings.

Eleven percent of the people surveyed by OCTA said they were dissatisfied with the President's performance, and 10 percent did not trust him.

In his press briefing on Wednesday, May 4, Andanar thanked Filipinos for continuing to trust the President.

"Nagpapasalamat po kami sa inyong patuloy at walang sawang suporta at pagtitiwala sa ating Punong Ehekutibo (We thank you for your unrelenting support and trust in our Chief Executive)," he said.

Andanar assured the public that they would continue to experience the same kind of service from the Duterte administration.

"Makakaasa po kayo na ang tapang at malasakit ng ating Pangulo, ang kanyang paglilingkod, ay mararamdaman hanggang sa huling sandali ng kanyang termino (You can expect that the President's courage and concern, his service, would be felt until the last moments of his term)," he said.
