BPO company offers hundreds of jobs in Ilocos

CANDON CITY, Ilocos Sur -- A Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company has offered hundreds of job opportunities for residents in Northern Luzon following the opening last week its first connection hub in the country at the extension building of the Stern Mall here.

Bong M. Borja, president of the Alorica Asia-Pacific Operations, said the Candon connection hub offered at least 400 job positions for its initial operations.

“The hiring of our employees for the hub is a demand-driven opportunity wherein we will initially offer 400 job positions. The number of employees we need will gradually increase up to 2,000 positions depending on the demand in the local and the world markets,” said Borja.

“We will continue to make the right investments. We remain agile as we evolve in delivering customer solutions powered by technology. At the same time, the connection hub ensures that we drive a sense of community, and we uphold our corporate culture, giving our remote workforce a sense of belonging in all forms of support they need to be productive,” he added.

Borja said that Alorica currently has 55,000 employees assigned in the different sites of the company all over the country.

All interested applicants who want to be part of Alorica will have to apply personally at the connection hub or online. They may visit the website: alorica.com for more details about the company.

Alorica Inc., a global leader in next-generation customer experience (CX) solutions, introduced one of its connection hubs in Candon to reach out to its network of operational sites designed to complement the expanding Alorica Anywhere work-at-home solution while scaling talent acquisition and support in target markets.

These facilities offer work-at-home employees a centralized location to further connect with their teams in person for recruiting, training, IT support, culture and engagement activities, and more.

Last year, the company opened four connection hubs in four countries: United States, Latin America, Europe to include the successful launches in La Ceiba, Honduras; and Querétaro, Mexico and Warsaw, Poland.

The Candon connection hub is equipped with training, recruiting, meeting rooms, docking workstations, giving associates access to information technology support and other services.

Work-at-home employees in the area will provide CX support in technology, customer care, and digital services on behalf of leading brands, adding to the growing workforce across the country.
